OUR HISTORY

Built in 1957-58 and designed by architects Francis O. Merchant and J. Richard Shelley, the Royal Palms is a fixture of the East Village Arts District and a prominent example of mid-century modern architecture in Long Beach.

Consisting of twelve stories and 164 units, the building was converted from its original form as a co-op project into condominiums in 2015.
